Program Director - MS in Digital Investigation Management
Job Description:
The Division of Information Technology and Sciences at Champlain College seeks an engaged faculty member to be the program director of the Master of Science in Digital Investigation Management starting January 2010. We are interested in candidates who can work within a team-oriented faculty and with strong project-based curricula. The successful candidate will lead our Master of Science program in Digital Investigation Management which is a new and growing program. Responsibilities include primarily graduate online instruction (some traditional undergraduate level instruction when needed), course development, student advising, industry outreach, and graduate student recruitment in collaboration with our admission team.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have industry experience and a Ph.D. in Computer Forensics or a related field and an understanding of adult learning principles. The candidate should be able to teach online graduate courses and face-to-face undergraduate courses for which s(he) is qualified within the Division, if needed. Experience with graduate program accreditation process is desirable. Rank will be determined based on qualifications of the successful candidate.
Game Programming - Assistant or Associate Professor
Job Description:
The Division of Information Technology and Sciences at Champlain College seeks an engaged faculty to join its Software Technology Department. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Game Programming major starting January 2010. We are interested in candidates who can work within a team-oriented faculty and with strong project-based curricula. The candidate will teach primarily on campus, with some online classes. Responsibilities include undergraduate instruction (possibly some graduate level), course development, student advising, community and industry outreach, and student team project supervision.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have industry experience in game programming and a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. (Candidates with a Masters degree in a relevant field and extensive experience in game programming will be considered.) The candidate should be able to teach courses which s(he) is qualified within the Division, if needed. Full TimeOur client, a progressive family oriented dental practice is seeking an Office Manager for a growing practice. The Office Manager, under the general direction of the Owners, is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the dental office including the front office personnel and systems. The Office Manager will be knowledgeable in all areas of office functions and able to assist in all office areas as needed. The Manager will ensure that all staff are crossed trained and is responsible for the efficient operation of the office.
Requires: Associates degree in Business or other related area, Bachelors is preferred. Minimum of three years supervisory and management experience in an office environment. Demonstrated ability to function as a member of a team. Ability to multitask. Excellent interpersonal and behavioral skills with ability to interact effectively with dental staff, administrative personnel, and patients. A strong customer service orientation and skills in problem solving. Excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Dental experience preferred. Familiarity with the community is preferred. College transcript and a background check are required.
This position is a 40 hour, 4.5 day a week salaried position.

Description Hospital based:
Prepares, compounds, manufactures, and dispenses drugs issued by the pharmacy. Serves as a technical resource for other medical professionals.
Assists physicians in the management of patient drug therapies and screens physician orders for potential drug interactions.
Evaluates the patient's response to medication, observing for signs of toxicity or adverse reaction.
Initiates/attends routine medical rounds.
Ensures the accuracy and integrity of products prior to their issuance to the consumer and performs pharmaceutical care activities in patient care areas. Participates in patient education by instructing them on the appropriate use of prescription medication and responding to their questions.
Maintains required records. Performs routine audits of narcotic records, patient dispensing and charges and drug utilization.
May oversee the work performed by pharmacy residents, interns and technicians. Assists in the training/orientation of new staff.
Performs related responsibilities as required.Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Pharmacist in the state of interest.
