Pharmacist, Retail and Hospital based positions open in Vermont, Retail Positions in Southeast PA, Maryland, Northern Virginia 

Description Hospital based:
Prepares, compounds, manufactures, and dispenses drugs issued by the pharmacy. Serves as a technical resource for other medical professionals.

Assists physicians in the management of patient drug therapies and screens physician orders for potential drug interactions.
Evaluates the patient's response to medication, observing for signs of toxicity or adverse reaction.

Initiates/attends routine medical rounds.

Ensures the accuracy and integrity of products prior to their issuance to the consumer and performs pharmaceutical care activities in patient care areas. Participates in patient education by instructing them on the appropriate use of prescription medication and responding to their questions.

Maintains required records. Performs routine audits of narcotic records, patient dispensing and charges and drug utilization.
May oversee the work performed by pharmacy residents, interns and technicians. Assists in the training/orientation of new staff.
Performs related responsibilities as required.

Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Pharmacist in the state of interest.

Description/Qualifications Retail based: Responsible for providing counseling to patients, monitoring the work of the Technicians, and assisting the Pharmacy Manager. Additional responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, prescription dispensing, trouble shooting insurance problems, and many other facets of pharmacy operations. Must possess a degree in Pharmacy.

Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Pharmacist in the state of interest.
