DIRECTOR EVALUATIVE SCIENCES - Montpelier, Vermont

The Vermont Program for Quality in Health Care has retained us to recruit a skilled and experienced leader who will be responsible for the development of quality measurement outcomes, project development, coordination and consultation with external organizations, and specific quantitative and evaluative analyses in focused clinical areas. This position is also responsible for the annual report to the legislature on the quality of health care with the opportunity to produce a truly cutting-edge publication.

As part of the leadership team, this position will help design, create and lead a Center for Evaluation for the state of Vermont.

This non-profit corporation is leading efforts to evaluate and improve the quality of health care in Vermont.

A Masters degree in data analysis, statistics or health care research preferred. Ph.D. and six to eight years of relevant experience desirable along with proven leadership and strategic planning skills, health research design, health care quality standards, health policy development, research, analysis and reporting, and excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills.

ACCOUNTANT – PUBLIC ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Our client, a growing, progressive, high tech full service public accounting company in the Burlington, Vermont area, is seeking an Accountant Supervisor.  The individual we seek will have the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge high tech paperless environment utilizing integrated systems.  Responsibilities include overseeing engagements, communicating to clients and staff about all aspects of work, working directly with clients to meet their needs, reviewing staff work, assuming some supervisory administrative functions, developing new business and promoting the firm through participation in civic, professional and business organizations.

Senior Accountant-Partner Opportunity -  Rutland, Vermont 

The Senior Accountant is a partner-opportunity position.  The Senior Accountant is responsible for taking charge, supervising and handling multiple engagements.  The individual must have excellent technical, professional and interpersonal skills.  Our Client is a well-established local public accounting firm that provides services in the areas of Accounting & Auditing, Business Consulting & Planning, Corporate and Individual Tax Preparation and Planning, Financial Planning, Retirement Planning and System Consulting.  The firm works with corporations, trusts, high net worth, estates, individuals, and nonprofits (no yellow book or municipal audits). They pride themselves in obtaining most of their new business from the referrals of their current clients.   Normal workweek is 40 hours per week during the non-tax season and 52 hours per week during the tax season.

Requires a CPA license with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in Public Accounting.  Candidate must be computer literate and experienced with a majority of the following software applications:  Ultra Tax, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks.

Pharmacist, Retail and Hospital based positions open in Vermont, Retail Positions in Southeast PA, Maryland, Northern Virginia 

Description Hospital based:
Prepares, compounds, manufactures, and dispenses drugs issued by the pharmacy. Serves as a technical resource for other medical professionals.
Assists physicians in the management of patient drug therapies and screens physician orders for potential drug interactions.
Evaluates the patient's response to medication, observing for signs of toxicity or adverse reaction.
Initiates/attends routine medical rounds.
Ensures the accuracy and integrity of products prior to their issuance to the consumer and performs pharmaceutical care activities in patient care areas. Participates in patient education by instructing them on the appropriate use of prescription medication and responding to their questions.
Maintains required records. Performs routine audits of narcotic records, patient dispensing and charges and drug utilization.
May oversee the work performed by pharmacy residents, interns and technicians. Assists in the training/orientation of new staff.
Performs related responsibilities as required.

Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Pharmacist in the state of interest.
