Church, Engle & Associates, Inc. was founded by Barbara Church and Keith Engle, former colleagues from one of the largest employers in the state of Vermont. Their expertise covers a wide range of Human Resources Services including: Recruitment, Employee/Labor Relations, Management Training and Development, Policy Development, Reduction-in-Force programs, Union Avoidance, Performance Management and Job Description Development.

Barbara S. Church: Partner

Barbara’s human resource background includes over 25 years of recruitment experience, where she held positions as the Director of Employment Services, Recruitment Manager and Recruiter. Barbara was responsible for the recruitment function for one of the largest employers in Vermont, a 6,000 employee organization where she developed and administered effective and innovative recruitment strategies. She also provided executive recruitment, management training, career development, and policy development. During her career she also managed the Employee Health and Worker’s Compensation program, administered an HR Generalist Function and was a designated harassment investigator. Barbara is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York.

Keith J. Engle: Partner

Keith's experience includes over 25 years in Human Resources. Keith also worked for one of the largest employers in the state of Vermont holding positions as Director of Employee Relations, Human Resources Manager, Employee and Labor Relations Specialist, and Recruiter. During this time Keith was responsible for, or involved in, a wide variety of programs including recruitment, grievance processes, corrective actions, performance evaluations, labor and employee relations, contract collective bargaining, employee recognition, management training, management consultation, employee opinion surveys, performance management, exit interviews, harassment and drug diversion investigations and training. Keith holds a Bachelors of Education degree from Glassboro State College in New Jersey and a Masters degree from The University of Vermont in Organizational and Human Resource Development.
